things I need. yes, need.

Yes, Please.// 20—A Water Girl’s Wish List

With the holiday season fast approaching, I thought I would put together a short list of some things that this water lover might like as gifts (cough, cough), or any other chickie that finds herself longing for the winds to change back to warm breezes and the days to be filled with sunshine until 9pm and the ocean water to be a perfect 72 degrees!

While I don’t really expect any of these things to be gifted to me, I DO plan on purchasing them for myself (apart from the posters, which, if you haven’t heard, are customizable and available at the PRINT SHOP link).

Happy gift hunting!

Yes, Please.//19—GIVEAWAY! A Great Pair of Sandals!

Although my computer is still not fully functional, I wanted to make sure I got back on track with RadWorks…and what better way to do that than a GIVEAWAY?! Thanks to the great people at, we are giving away one pair of these colorful Cobian sandals!

What’s that? You want to win this awesome pair of kicks?! I bet you do! Good thing it’s easy! You have 1 week…GO!

1. Like on Facebook
2. Like RadWorks Design Hut on Facebook (if you don’t already…for shame!)
3. Share this post on Facebook and tag RadWorks Design Hut! (make sure you tag us, otherwise we won’t know you’ve entered!)

I have been loving my pair! They are super light weight and extremely comfortable. AND, because they are actual sandals, it’s so easy to wear them to the beach or to the office. Cobian has a great product line, check out all of their great choices HERE.

I’m very sorry to say that my laptop battery has died, and until I get it replaced (nearly impossible in a timely fashion on this island), all of my templates are inaccessible. I hope to be back up and running soon!

Thank you for your patience, get out on the water in the mean time!

Yes, Please. // 18—Fallify Your Home With 5 Things

I’m certainly not an expert interior designer (I wish!) and not even close to a home decorator, BUT, I absolutely love dabbling in decorating! I always look forward to the change of seasons for an excuse to switch up the ambiance of the house and naturally, buy new things!

Since our seasons here in Bermuda don’t really include winter, I still try to keep things appropriate for our sub-tropical climate. Keeping the blue hues you see below maintains the flow of my home but complements the blue waters and blue skies surrounding me—adding much needed textures and a little warmth for some of those colder evenings!

Yes, Please. // 17—Potential Vespa Designs

Happy Friday! Time to share something fun!

When I went to buy my bike a little over a year ago, my options were limited; red, or white. Seeing that one of my best friends here had just purchased a red one, white was looking more up my alley.  I love my white Vespa! It’s totally me, but something just seems to be missing…I recently was introduced to an auto repair shop that happens to have one of their specialties in painting vehicles  (I looked at some of their work, totally rad.) Soooo, it seems only natural that I should be designing some embellishments to give ‘ol Landshark a facelift (**note, this week someone knocked Landshark over and the poor thing has scratches allllll over the right side of it…How rude! Definitely time for paint job…)

Which design do you like best?

Yes, Please. // 16—Bike Name Update!

I’m sure some of you have noticed that I have yet to do a post announcing the winner for the bike naming contest. The truth is, while there were some valiant attempts to give the bike a name, I just didn’t feel like any of them truly fit the personality. Soooooo, I am going to try something a little different. First, I am going to announce the Honorable Mentions! These are the names that came close (and yes, you get a poster!):

And now…Please put in your vote for one of the following names in the comment block:

Eventually, I will be painting some sort of wavey/ocean inspired type of design on the bike! Holler!

Yes, Please. // 15—Summer Essentials

Seeing as Friday was the first day of Summer (HOORAY!), and I spent my entire weekend at Horseshoe Bay Beach in the sun, I figured it would be a great time to share all of my favorite summer essentials (including my favorite sunscreen & waterproof mascara!) Check them out, and if you have any suggestions for me, by all means, leave a comment!!

Yes, Please. // 14—Name My Bike & Win This Poster!

I haven’t had a car in over 6 years, but I always had enough courtesy to give my cars a name. I have now had this sweet, little, white Vespa for over a year, and it’s due time I named it!

I need help! I haven’t named it yet because I can’t come up with anything worthy enough! If YOU name it, I will send you THIS print that I created with inspiration from the nameless bike.

1. Leave a comment on this post with your best name options. You can list up to 3!

2. LIKE RadWorks Studios on Facebook and share your names there too!

**Bonus points if you share this post via Facebook, Twitter (@LindsayAmerault)

I will pick by next Friday, May 24th (Bermuda Day!) and notify the winner.

Thanks for your help!

Yes, Please. // 13—Beach Essentials

Beach season is finally here! I spent Sunday down at Horseshoe Beach soaking in the sun and today I registered for beach volleyball (3 days a week! Yikes!) Here are a few things that are a MUST to bring with you to the beach. These newly released RayBan Rare Prints are mine and they don’t know it yet. The new option to customize your Jawbone Jambox is just too cool, and the Volcom cooler disguised as a beach bag is the most stylish cooler I’ve ever seen.

Bring on the sun!

Yes, Please. // 11—Saturday

I know it’s Friday, but in case you haven’t been introduced yet, please meet Saturday,, that is. is Kate Spade’s fun, more casual, very exuberant younger sister (and a little more affordable! Sweeeeet!) I have already “favorited” a bunch of items and look forward to my next trip to the States so I can get FREE SHIPPING and get my hands on some of these colorful goodies!

I admire what the designers have drawn inspiration from on some of these patterns and I can’t help but LOVE that they have “Color It In” pattern—where was that when I was 7?!

Anyone who puts Young MC lyrics on their IPhone cases is OK in my book! Need THIS! Lovin’ me some Kate Spade Saturday!

Yes, Please. // 10—Inflatable SUP

Even though it’s pretty darn cold outside right now (by Bermuda standards), I am thinking ahead to warmer temperatures when the days are longer, the sun won’t stop shining and the water is perfect to dive into! I can’t think of a more perfect summertime accessory for the Vespa then an inflatable stand-up paddle board! (did you even know they made them?) The sport is starting to take off here and I was deeply upset when I knew I couldn’t have a car, and thus, no transportation for a SUP, that is, until I was out on the water one day last fall with our resident expert at Island Winds, and he told me about the products! BOOM! Since, I have been dreaming of all the places I can paddle out to.

A couple I am considering: THIS ONE, by Star-Board, and THIS ONE, by Naish

This will be MOI in a few months!
